Quick Update:

- Jason is in for providing Borla with a vehicle for fitment.

- Borla wants to have the final count by the end of the week. If you haven't already committed and want to, please let me know by Friday.

- Once this is done, Jason can take his rig to Borla for fitting. To make it even better his 90 currently has a Borla exhaust so current issues can be pointed out and improved on for the new run.

- Everybody that is in on the group buy will need to provide Borla with their payment info before the product is made and your card will be billed after.

- Price will be $782 + Shipping

Can somebody give me a quick schooling on Borla exhausts. I've never had one. I replaced my exhaust in 2009 with stock, what would I notice with a Borla? Better sound, performance, etc...? The ones being made would fit any NAS 90?

Pros:
Looks great
Sounds great to most
Won't corrode

Cons:
Slight drone around 70
Connection issues with the y-pipe (hopefully this issue will be solved with the test fit)

For those interested, please contact Chris Baas with Borla with the following information
1) Tell him it's the Defender 90 group buy for part # 14764
2) Your shipping address
3) Credit card details including card number, expiration date and security code
4) A daytime phone # you can be reached by

Feel free to email him or call and give him your information over the phone

Chris Baas
Email: ChrisB@borla.com
Phone #: (805) 246-6037

Again the price will be $782.99 plus shipping
Once the orders have been placed, we will get Jason's 90 over for the test fit so we'll know for sure everything fits correctly.

Thanks,
Tyler

Should be around 8 by tomorrow morning. FYI, Chris at Borla said this will be the last run.

I'm curious if anyone has a picture of the exit of the Borla.

I dont guess there is any difference for a '97 auto is there?

Not sure what you mean by exit, but no difference. I'd started a few Borla threads with a bunch of pics.

Yeah, so they look relatively stock at the tip?

Not even close to a stock look, but honestly a way better design both functionally (won't get pinched on a rock) and aesthetically.

Gotcha.

I'm all about the aesthetics.

Any issues with exhaust smell in a ST when top is off?

I thought it might be better for a side exit exhaust to get the smell away versus a rear exit where the fumes sometimes come back in due to turbulence.

Looks like a decent pipe....

any reputable ST owner also owns a fume curtain. No matter stock, NRP, Borla, etc. you'll get some exhaust smell without one. Get your order in for one from tjfslaughter asap if you haven't already.

No issues here. Exit out the side like Jeff said. What is your NOx output?
