That's not new(er)! Look at the shifter boot....it's all faded. Shit if I was going to pay $80K for a 76 FJ40.... everything, and I mean EVERYTHING should be new.

Yeah, but it's not 700 miles since new..... it's 700 miles since RESTORATION. Big difference to collectors, and way overpriced for ANY FJ-40.

He bought my Dad's '97 90 (16k miles) a couple of months ago for $42k. He listed it the next day for $52k and it was gone within a week... I was impressed. He is actually a real nice guy, and it was the easiest car transaction I've ever experienced.

The funny thing about that car is that it's in Boston. Who in their right mind would drive such a nice car around Boston?

that just looks like the wax like coating found on NOS rubber parts. A lot of the NOS rubber i used when i was restoring a '60 karman ghia had the same look. not that I support that price... I've seen them in the high 60k before at this place TLC.

Thats rediculous. There is a place in California that sells them just like that. Frame off restorations that come out looking better than they were new. Prices normally 20-30,000.

I didn't see your link for TLC. There is another place somewhere but either way 84,000...Give me a break

yeah TLC is like ECR I know a guy that paid 15k for an FJ he ened up doing a motor swap a new tramission a SPOA lockers etc. If you have money its easy. IF you dont have lots of money you ask alot of questions and ask a lot of questions and thin about the offroad work you willl be doing. Its all good I just dont see the point in some things, why beat up your truck and tear up the land its dumb. any ways keep on money money money
