Diagnostic tool LR3

I'm considering a diagnostic tool for the LR3. Has anyone used the Hawkeye or Lynx system? Is there another system I should consider?

Lynx is awesome, also offers the opportunity to expand to multiple VIN and multiple models

I got mine through paddock

Is it possible to program the 3rd button on the key FOB to remotely close the sunroof and possibly the windows?

Now that would be pretty cool. Of the four known things you can do with the LR button I have found I prefer the follow me home lights function, particularly once I enabled the reverse lights-but the window idea would be sweet.

No idea, besides, why buy a diagnostic tool to do that ?

If that is possible, mind as well have someone with an IDS machine do it

Who said anything about buying? If affirmative, was hoping something you could do for me at HH. :-)

Awhile back Justin had a post about the gap tools. They looked pretty cool.

LOL

You should have read my original post

Lynx is VIN Specific, my machine will not work on yours without paying the GBP135.00 to add the VIN

But find out if an IDS machine does it and I borrow one

I too have the GAP and it's fantastic. More than paid for itself a few times over.
