Detroit /true trac locker question

How do I know if I need a 10 spline or 24 spline locker in the rear? I was trying to research it and it seems that the Disco 1's were 24 spline but how do I know for sure? Thanks in advance.

All NAS D-Is are 24 spline. But, if so inclined, simply pull one and count the splines at the diff end. If you have steel wheels and open centers, simply unbolt the 5 inner bolts ( on the drive flange) and pull it out- short side is easier to reinstall your first time.

NAS D90's to be specific. 110's are 10 spline in front. and 24 in rear for clarification of future readers

Pulling a shaft is pretty simple and straight forward. Like rovertrader said, if you have steel wheels you don't even have to pull a wheel off or jack it up. Otherwise just jack up one side, pull the wheel. Then pull the five bolts holding the cap down. It should slide out pretty easy. You may get a bit of 90wt oil that will drip out when you do this.
