I can just see this as a new event for Conclave next year. First you have to sit around with R Davis and the goat to make sure your good and primed......

That is quite possibly the gayest music video ever produced!

.....but, since the Stratos Blue CSW featured throughout the video was my former truck (literally, that was MY 110), now owned by JJSTAHL here on DefenderSource, I have to say I kinda enjoyed watching it.

Plate number: A299 WUK

My spotting skills are almost to the legendary Horsey status!

This is what your average Defender owner does in their spare time.

As for being gay, not any more gay that seeing a pristine truck on boost with 37 pieces of flair that never goes off road.

I actually like it.

the speedo looked functioning, just jumping (which usually means the cable is on the way out). Which makes sense because I had to replace the cable shortly after I bought it.
Anyway, since it appeared to be shot in the UK, I'd say it was before my ownership.
I wonder exactly when it was made.

Old Owner

Hi all

My dad used to own this landy while i was a kid, probably 10years ago now

Randomly did a search on google for the reg plate to see if it had been mentioned anywhere and came across this thread.

Reg check showed it was last taxed in 2011 which makes sense as it seems it ended up in America around that time?

Glad to see it is still going somewhere in the world!! Used to have boards on the roof rack and im sure it used to have a snorkel. Had a 200tdi in it when my dad had it.

Was there a mark on one of the wings, i remember some wood slid off the roof rack onto the bonnet/wings and marked/dented it somewhere.

It blew the top hose on the motorway, and broke cylinder rings and other things, i still have one of the pistons from it.
Shortly after that it was sold on to someone in the UK with a farm i think.

Had to join up and post when i saw it.

P.S: Was not in our ownership when that video was made :p

The GF loved the vid because the "war is over and I'm no longer a soldier" line (I get out in 4 months). I think its awesome that the blue truck is JJSTAHL's old truck.

Did he sell to a forum member?

Welcome aboard Chance I'm sure you'll get the full history of A299 WUK adventures in the US when the West Coast wakes up.

PM me and I'll fill you in on some details and email you some pictures.
