Surprised you could still see the frame rust in the shots of the truck driving. Should have cover that up.

It's funny that in England changing to a V8 is an upgrade and many here pay top dollar for a diesel. Maybe I can ship my 3.9 to England for a 300tdi straight across.
I was thinking the same thing but sort of not surprised after reading a recent thread on pirate about it.

I love the show, but they really skimp on easy areas to fix/freshen up. To me, most of the stuff they do is "lipstick on a pig." They also never take in to account Ed's labor on all the "fixes." I wonder how many of these buyers are real, and if they are, do they kick themselves after watching the show?

How about that mess of a rig for the first one inspected? A frame swap will not even begin to solve the cancer that permeated throughout it. Sadly, someone will be snookered into paying good $$ for it, be surprised at its condition when it arrives on this side of the pond, and proceed to dump $ after $ after $.

I had a few questions:

1. Why did they install the new windows before painting?
2. Why did they show a picture of a Boost wheel and ended up with Freestyles?
3. Why didn't they show pictures of the interior when it was done?
4. Why didn't they remove the hinges before spraying
5. I have a lot more but it was still a good show. I am surprised they didn't say lets send it to the jack asses in U.S.

Enjoyed the show; but usually end up scratching my head at the end of most episodes.

Some of It must be related to their production schedule, like taking the time to replace the crank and lifters but installing windows before paint??

It must be like "Well, we've got Ed for 4 hours today; what can we do?...who cares if we have paint scheduled for next week."

But no explanation for that grill; it looked awful when they were driving 'round at the end.

The grill thing is a mystery. There was clearly a new one brought in. Then, after the paint job it looked nice and straight and still new. However, on their test drive it clearly looked like the same old warped grill, just painted. Nevertheless, it was an incredible transformation of an old 90.

The show is great, but they make things look too easy. I wonder how many rusted bolts or slipping rivet nuts Ed had to deal with. Plenty I'm sure. The magic of tv.

It's funny now they make it look like they only made a few hundred pounds.

But keep in mind that all those parts and paint job was probably done for free to get the mentioning, and the commercial sponsors also pay them for their time.

They still made quite a few bucks...

Looks like the headliner was still shabby on their test drive as well. And yes, that grill looked horrible.
