Defenders of Iceland

Last year a friend of mine was in Iceland to photograph a media event for Subaru. The guide/recovery vehicles were mostly built-up Defenders, and apparently they got quite a workout pulling the Subie XV hybrids out of rivers. Somehow all the cars managed to survive. Really cool! Pun intended! "Holy wide-body defender, Batman!" That's quite a stance! I imagine the only step up from that set-up are trax!
