I know exactly where you mean. I think one of the owners' Defender is a black ST with a Mass. plate. I assume that he has a place there. I've seen the truck a couple of times around Greenwich where they're flagship store is.

Saturday afternoon, driving down 1st Ave, Seattle: 95/97 NAS 90 SW. White; and I mean all white, every paintable surface: white brush bar, headlight surrounds, cage, wheel arches, bumpers, rear crossmember, even the trailer hitch plug and all the light plinths. Bling-bling polished stock alloys.

Awful. Passed by too quickly to get a photo.

That was a pic from a year ago or so...maybe more "upgrades" have come up since then...hell the cage was missing back then...maybe it was out for some white paint!

I wonder if it was number 296 of 500 from 1995 then. Fits the description of the white surrounds a little better.

Spotted a white Row 110 on NJ Turnpike heading south by exit 7. Looked like CT plates

Nice, a "true" '94 without the rear safari cage. Looks clean and that's right where I grew up.

Is this rig anyone's here on the list? The chassis looked like I could eat dinner off it, it was that clean - I don't think I've ever seen one that clean in my life - showroom new. I want to know they're secret!

PS - looks like he had ECR's taillight upgrade...the old square lenses were sitting on the floor of the driverside.

Well, that looks more like it. Had a brand new specialty WA plate on it which could indicate a recent sale from CA.

If it is the same one, then since purchase the new owner has barfed more white paint over the rest of it (arches, crossmember, bumpers, added a white brush bar) and blinged up the wheels.

I wish I had Barry's knack for colorful, accurate descriptions... I'm not doing this thing justice.

Check out my sighting of this from a year ago:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...&postcount=488

Looks to be a dealer car, but I think more "dealer owned" than for-sale. Nice looking rig - honestly the cleanest Defender I had ever seen.

Ah, ok, so it is Arles. It has some bad things on it but pretty nice overall. I'm surprised Horsey didn't recognize this from his database.
