Saw a blue 110 with white roof at the land rover monmouth dealership getting worked on. Not so much a sighting but I actually ran into the guy with the 2.5 diesel 90 from red bank at the lowe parking lot as I was driving the battlewagon. Had a nice conversation with him for a few minutes.

In Ouray, CO this week. Ran Engineer and Cinnamon Passes today. Saw a '97 BRG D90 twice in Ouray (didn't have enough time to take a pic), and saw this '94 Coniston Green D90 parked next to a house jut outside Silverton.

I expect to be headed up there next summer myself, and will probably bring both Ds along.
I was stationed there back in 1999, and dug it.

Saw this one while in Pagosa Springs, Colorado last Saturday. New Mexico plates. Turned around and waved but I was not in the 90 at the time.

Looks like it has LEDs in the back, right?

I've asked truckers on the CB about those when I see them and they tell me that they are going to baltimore to get shipped out to either Isreal or Africa. They are a fairly common sight on I-81 north. I never see them going south to get out fitted though.

There is an outfit in Alabama that was doing some uparmoring a few years ago, might be from them.

The things on the top looked to be lights behind cages (police-style blue lights, I think). Looks very similar in that vein to those that I've been in in N. Ireland, but otherwise they do look a lot like the ones in Israel that the IDF uses. Appeared to have some-albeit light-ballistic protection on them but that's just a supposition.

Sadly I didn't get a snapshot (and don't remember) the name of the outfight that had done the work-it was on a plate on the trucks but I was already multi-tasking enough just getting the Disco up to overtaking speed to then get off an exit or two later.

Very nice trucks though, that's for sure.

Those look like the lightweight non-or-light armored 110s from MDT Armor. Awesome. They make the ULAV which is the heavily armored Defenders, too. I think we have a board member who works for them don't we?

Haha woops Kevin you beat me to it. Went to go cook some food then hit post reply. Looking at your link it looks like they may have started putting cages around the roof top search lights though.

I ran into him last time I drove through Pagosa. He's from Taos but has a place in Pagosa as well. Nice guy. He's not on the boards but he's had his truck for quite a while.

Might have been mine. It's coming tomorrow and I think the transporter came through Texas. Did it have white wolf wheels and a NAS rack? I was wondering if anyone would see it driving across the country.

So excited I can only read d-90 all night!
