It was. It's a 19J with their funky 300 a/c setup. I think arkonik is sending over another head or something. I'm waiting on an engine number to send some parts to them.

I could have misunderstood him too. I was so distracted by the motor being in so many pieces on a, echem, brand new truck quite the sight

Crazy that someone would pay that kind of money for a ROW with a 19j. I'm surprised that Arkonik does not arrange to have the engine swapped immediately after it clears import.

I thought the story was Arkonik flew in techs with parts to fix issues ?

Why cut into profit margin with a stateside motor swap when there are plenty enough unsuspecting/uneducated buyers with too much money to burn and too little knowledge of what is exactly under the hood.

It's possible they're reimbursing for the parts from us.

Hell there is a company here that can get you a NAS in 12 weeks for the same price.
I suspect the folks buying these novelties also lease their iphones.

These and other quick restos will be giving Maaco and the state side Land Rover resto shops a flow of new business for years to come.

Jesus lots of fat shaming in there but also lots of nice comments. Nobody seemed to even notice the freaking truck.

Very clean Puma 110 with Mexican tags in San Diego, ended up parking behind us at SeaWorld.

I just saw what looked to be a Defender 130 dressed up in Redbull regalia heading northbound on I-5, Oregon mile marker 78 at 7:30 pm.

It was so last second that I couldn't catch a photo, but it was definitely the one from the Internet. It looked to have some strange body panels on it. It's not the armored stealth thing they did because it had 130 taillights. It definitely had some strange body panel work and what appeared to be some sort of roof cap as opposed to a proper hoop set for the truck bed hood.

are you sure it wasn't the International MTX? It has a full capping because the speakers and DJ stand rise up. Red Bull does not use a Defender in the US market
