Saw a pretty looking tan pickup on a car carrier as it was heading towards Seattle on Sunday morning on I-90. Somebody's new ride?

Girlfriend sighting. 78th and 3rd (right by d90td5's place... am I allowed to say that?). Just texted to me. I'm doing shots downtown she just finished the JP Morgan 5k...ahhh priorities. I told her good spot but I need the badge number. Ha. She said CT plates.

Oldest son in ABQ saw this in old town yesterday... Not at all sure if this link works...Td5 110 with what just might be slightly too much weight on the roof

The answer is because that is what the customer wanted. A G4 clone as close to G4 specs as possible, but with his own custom touches tossed in (G4 didn't have that rack, our bumper, or lots of other things).

Changing the NAS 110 rear tub to Euro rear lighting was as simple as changing the rear corner cappings and altering the wiring harness and adding the lights. The tub on the truck is the original from the donor truck and the Euro lights covered all but one hole on the LH side rear and the side markers and those were welded shut before priming and painting.

The argument from the moron crowd that a truck has to built by the factory and can't be made makes me laugh. So if its the case that a truck has to "be a truck" before it can be a truck... then what the hell was this:

I noticed you didn't paint the belt rail kit. Is there any disadvantage to painting one?

They will work fine either way.
We put them on after the tubs are painted as it is easier to get full coverage without them in the way. Later factory 90s had them painted, so there is no issue either way really.

I meant more of painting them separate before putting them on. Does that mean if you take them off a 97 there is no paint on the tub under it?

Correct, no color under them on the later 90s.

Painting them would be a personal choice, they could be painted if you like. No real issue there other than maybe some cracking where the rivets go (if the paint was thick).

Odd lrfaq lists 1997 #1712 as AA Yellow, not Monza Red.

twas me enjoying some not so hot weather for a change!

It's the factory Tickford top. After having a badger fds, and a badger gutter kit, I have found that I think I really like the original best. Actually, my true preference might be a badger gutter kit with rollup rather than zip out windows, but not going to spend the money to find that out.

I think there is only one other Arles in Raleigh. I have owned two, but my previous one is no longer Arles. The other Arles is close to 5 points but only comes out to play on the nicest of days. I believe it is an ECR rig, I have looked it over and it is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. Has a tan badger fds with roll up windows. The picture on my avatar is my old truck.
