Will H cited the specifics just the other day. So, these Pumas if tagged in Mexico and driven by a permanent resident or citizen of MX, are on US soil 100% legally for that period of time not to exceed 1 year and may not to be sold when here.
I wish I had known about this sooner. I guess the easy solution is staring us all in the face.
1. drive to Mexico (reverse migration)
2. Obtain Mexican citizenship
3. Buy a new 2015 Puma and legally bring it back to US for a year.
4. Next year drive it back to Mexico and sell it, buy a different one and so on each year.
Seems like a plan?

4. Next year drive it back to BAJA Mexico for 2 week vacation, then drive it back over, repeat each year.

Fixed it for you.

I wonder if this would work if the car was registered to a corporation... Open a satilite office in Mexico or Belize, company buys a defender, you drive it to the states...

Still pretty high risk.

Article said that LR sourced the 110 for them. The way I read it, it seemed that the 110 was part of the LR NA fleet but I obviously could have read it wrong.

I believe that one lives in Belle Meade. I see it often on my way to Percy Warner park.
