Saw another one today on the pike going the other way. White ST with what looked like three red lights on the bumper.

Saw this truck down in Alexandria last weekend when we were in DC on vacation. Also saw a green SW with a rusted-out rear crossmember that had a giant hole in it, and a trashed interior.

Chris:

You should've hit some of us up while you were here...we did a Happy Hour on Thursday (if you were in town).

Shit, I wish I could have. We got in late late Thursday night and then it was non-stop sightseeing with my wife. We had a great time, though, and we're definitely going to come out again. Maybe some day the Army will move us out there.

BTW, was your Series parked on the street in Alexandria on Monday afternoon? I saw one of those as well.

Negative on the Series...I've left it at my place in NY since I bought it, but I've seen a BRG Series in Alexandria before - does that sound like the one?

Keep us posted if you get back out this way again - or definitely if the Army relocates you!

Recent import for a board member here. Galvanized frame a/c etc. Lives in Vienna. Friend of Lavenders. Tint is something he's already had done.

11:15am spotted a green 90 SW driving east on I-66 around Tysons VA...I was driving west the other direction in the 110. Thought it was Jeff Apigian "jefferson" but after talking to him it was not.

Series sighting, Fairfax

I just stopped by One Flint Hill in Fairfax and saw someone's very pretty Series Truck with hardtop in the office complex parking lot. It looks like the hardtop side windows were recently installed. The color was a light greenish-grey, and the truck's interior was pretty darn good - all the indicators on the dash looked good. Galvanized bumper and windscreen. Lots of MG-Club of Virginia badges on the inside.

A little rust on the fuel tank, but very very very clean otherwise!

Not a Defender but it was good to see another obsessed individual

Just realized I forgot to post this from my trip to Newport, RI. Same one I saw a few years ago, but this time I had a Land Rover of my own.

Do you leave your raingler nets on all the time? Do they make a lot of noise on the highway?

Chris, topless 90 was looking good this evening! Saw you parked on Colorado as were leaving. We were at the Art Walk and Pizzeria Rustica.

Pikes Peak Brewery (http://pikespeakbrewing.com/) just opened up. We should do some beers there soon.

Dang, we almost ate at Rustica. It was my wife's first choice but we compromised on Tapateria. I ended up drinking way too many Cuba Libres and Rachel had to drive the truck home. It was a nail-biting ride, she couldn't totally reach the clutch and she stalled out in the middle of Nevada.

I'd love to meet up at PPB. Pick the day.
