I think they know there is still a lot of demand for the stick. I don't think it is gong away forever.

I hope you're right. I picked my old 911 from service yesterday and EVERY car in the showroom was automatic. Of course most cars were stupid cayennes and panameras, but still...

Sad to say but the drivers car (other than the 911r which will be impossible to actually buy) is the Camaro Z/28
frankly one of the few cars today that does it right, and by right i mean A/C is optional, as is the bigger stereo (1 speaker stock), no leather, or other crap... - pretty much Yeah! in my book with no options.

looks easy to drop another 100lbs from as well, which would be worth doing.
