Wait, is that a "thing" where you defer your maintenance and repairs even though you have the time, money, space, and parts...and then are forced to make sudden repairs (with the help of friends) at a more inopportune time and in less than ideal settings & situations (i.e. rocks in your back, no parts to repair, improvised ratchet strap hoists, and whatnot)?

Oh yeah that's the sport rack option. It reduces wind resistance and provides downforce at track speeds.

And while I'm at it, although not a Defender, very very very cool! I got a chance to talk to the owner who had just taken delivery! First fueling as we chatted. Not super stock, but ultra clean and nicely restored!
