Red hub flange bolts are done so the squaddies know to stay away from them.

White diffs are for convoy lighting. Both are pretty standard MOD features.

Spotted a big G4 sticker on an orange 110 headed east on Route 7 outside Leesburg Virginia around 9:30am today. No film in the phone so no photographs unfortunately.

My three kids covet tooling around in the Defender. My youngest, now 3, knows everything about Defenders. He sits on the throne flipping through the RN mag. Seriously. So we swing by Jonesy's the other day to pick up my EDC (nice knife, let Lav hook you up) and park next to Craig's 2a. My youngest blurts out "jeep." I'm floored and laughing all the same. Perplexed how he knows what a jeep is, especially in my household. Not that jeep is taboo, it is just not discussed. So we spend a minute going back on the evolution of LRs and how the Defender evolved from the Series. Sort of like how our dog evolved from the fox we see all the time (they look the same from a distance to the point I hope my neighbor's son doesn't take him out - Craig knows who I am referring to). Last night we flipped through the RN mag and I pointed out the similarities of the 2a and Defenders. He was catching on. Then blurts out that Craig's was a JEEP. I failed as a father.

Good point. Now my kid is going to fail his first biology class. That, or tell his teacher he/she is full of $hit.

No, that would be the mangy coyote that hangs out around here. Caught the damn thing sleeping under our kitchen bay window a few times.
Fox = my dog + hunting rich area = bad scenario. Obviously this analogy didn't work for Jonesy's jeep, err, I mean 2a.

Just spotted a yellow station wagon with white top in San Francisco (I think we were on 19th Street). Moving too fast to snap a photo.

Looked very clean and super sharp.
