Training? I thought you were interested in the more "hands on approach" kind of women? Confused... ;-)

Yousta be...turns out not to be a good idea to share hobbies you appreciate. It's the too many cooks kinda thing! and it gets worse from there.

Seriously this might possibly be the lamest sighting ever on the board. I don't care if your girlfriend just came out of a coma and her first words were land rover it is beyond dumb.

Here are is the list of the dumbest sightings:
1. Posting your own truck - seriously lame.
2. Sightings of trucks outside the USA. Yeah we get it, you are excited because you saw a defender but if you aren't on USA soil (will include Puerto Rico and Guam) no one gives a shit. It's not special.
3. Posting a LR4, Range Rover, Evoque, Discovery Sport, etc. Unless they are on fire or set up for an apocalypse no one cares.

Can someone make this a sticky please.

Yea, a plow. My 109 was an ex-plow truck out of BC. Not the best candidate for a rust free frame.

Terrible photo. This black 90ST with removable hardtop was merging onto riverside drive this evening.

Not really "shocking" at all. Briggs has already pre-typed and edited every conceivable post, response, insult, relative and random YouTube link, and Rover technical insight known to man, and has forgotten more about these trucks than most will ever know ;-)

But..... Defenders/Series "ARE" exciting to see up here in Canada as it is still an import ban country and the northern most of "North America." You live in L.A. (Northern Mexico) next to the southern most country of "North America" where there's almost no regulation of any kind on automobiles. So statistically, it's just as much of a "sighting" (in terms of relative market rarity) to see a truck in Canada than it is to see a 2012 110 with Mexican plates in the Whole Foods parking lot of West Hollywood.

I'll also bet there are more Canadian members of this forum (although I'm not one of them) than any other single country, save that of the U.S. But I could be wrong and I digress :-)

But I still like ya Barry, no matter how much $h!t you give me. And my friends call me Dave.

I know. Sorry about that ;-) Not my M.O.

Oh, yes. It's absolutely ok to express an opinion. I'm just not accustomed to catching grief for expressing mine.
