Nice...also cool that you had someone take that photo for you!

I saw that truck Driving in the main laguna seca gate. I was in my d90 all week and spotted a handful of other defenders also. And of course, a handful of other cars as well. I got a thumbs up from a guy in a mclaren p1. Here's a pic with a more budget friendly car.

I'll bet! Nice spot. I'd rather be seen in that 90 than the Italia. Speaking of p1's, well in this case a p4. I almost drove over one on the Golden Gate Bridge last month. Just a near miss, but exciting enough. Crossed over into head on traffic (ie; me in my '98 Range) and slalomed the cones. They cut back just in time. I could just see the headline "P38>P4"

Very nice! TTT? Trailer top tent! Just curious, but what's the plan for that raised piece of white angle iron on the port side of the trailer?

Found this sighting very interesting. Friend of mine sent me this photo of a local NAS 110. I have known this truck for years but it was recently rebuilt by a new owner who either loves the galvanized look or hates rust or both. Interesting truck for sure.

Its actually has a channel on the other side that a tarp slides into... i will have to modify it a bit as my maggiolina is a bit wider than the bars...

Looks great! Big base camp footprint when it's all deployed. Good times!

That is the most awesome NAS truck I have seen. I might have to rethink my opinion of them.

Now I have to ask: what's your opinion of them?

Yeah I am still on the fence about it. On one hand I love it and think it's a sweet approach but on the other I am not so sure. I wonder if I would feel differently if the body color was different to contrast the galvy more? But all in all I think it's pretty cool. Very Series inspired which I like. Just hope I can run across it one day to see it in person.

Low. The NAS trucks were some of the worst trucks built. At a Time when BMW owned the company and really just wanted the technology for the X5. So every corner was cut. No paint/primer under the cappings. The frame was painted after the trans crossmember was in place, etc. The complete afterthought of the rollcage and putting holes into an already leaky roof. And the cheesy Truck-lite tail lights dont do it any favors.
