I saw very few rovers in the Caymans. Most were old discos and no other defenders other than those two.

Not that I had a chance to really explore, I did not see anywhere you could take one "offroad" other than beach access.

Saw a NAS 110 on US1 heading North in New Brunswick NJ. Also saw a NAS Green soft top at a shop in Brunswick as well.

Passed this bad boy on King St. in Old Town Alexandria, VA this morning...was coming back from Cars & Coffee, spun around on a side street, blew through a few red lights, and tracked the gentleman down. Yes, I am a stalker - funny thing is he had spotted me and his wife was pointing out my car (though not a Rover).

Anyhow, cool guy, and ends up it was the '84 ex-Saudi truck that Doug had brought in...cool rig.

I've seen a green D90 apparently residing on Main Street in Ashaway, RI. Anybody belong to that one?

Spotted this one in Arlington this evening (NAS #310/500)...same truck that Steve Bartley ("ssbartley1") saw back in March at the George Washington Masonic Temple, but figured it was worthy of another "sighting" since we still haven't tracked down the owner officially.

According to a guy I just bought a Series tailgate off of that lives literally right around the corner (and he has a very nice '97 NAS 90 just brought down from NH), the 110 lives there on a regular basis. I've insisted that he stalks this #310 until he finds the rightful owner.

It's literally right next to the Quarterdeck...one of the proposed "Happy Hour" spots.

Jason, it was good meeting you last night. I'll keep stalking that 110.

Steve (SMOB), was that you that I passed on Lee Highway on Sunday? I saw a very nice Arles wagon with black steel wheels, rack, etc. I was in a stock green SW.

Oh, yeah, that was me, I was meaning to bring up here that I saw you by District Taco. Your truck is in great shape.

I was in the throes of food poisoning and was heading aimlessly to some 7-11 somewhere for some soda and Tums. And you saw the good/right side of the truck. Left side was put through a blender by the PO. Needs some ECR quality time.

9:25am, white NAS 90 with black faded fiberglass top and snorkel, heading east on 267 just a few miles outside of Leesburg VA. Never seen the truck before in the area. Anyone here?

Just saw a red 90 with black canvas on Rt. 36 east just past the 36 and 35 intersection and I was driving the red 90 heading west on Rt. 36 with no canvas and no door tops.

Side note I also seen two Ferrari's this morning and some kind of car from the twenties or thirties.

Follow-up: stopped by Paul Warren's place (British Car Docs, Upperville VA...outstanding place by the way, Paul is top-notch) and he knows the truck. I believe the car is owned by a veterinarian, story goes that it is a NAS 90 that was shipped to the UK and the engine was "swapped" with a TDI - then the swapped V8 was turned into a LPG engine there in the UK.

I realize that spotting a Defender in London doesn't really count as a sighting, but I was there for a almost week and only saw a handful. This bad boy was stationed at the Olympic park. The Olympic Stadium is in the background.

Just saw the back half of a 5door station wagon behind some autobody shop on an episode about scrapmetal yard in the New York City area. The show just aired on the national geographic channel in HD. Top half of the truck was missing and the doors. Believe the show was taped sometime last summer. The station wagon was rolling but was in a disassembled state. the color on the rearfacing panels were grey or bare aluminum. At the end of the show they showed that went off to a race track called river raceway(?) that I google mapped to a place on the north side of Long Island.
