Yesterday at the Grand Canyon (South ridge). French couple (+ young one in tow) starting a 18-month journey across the world. '97 110 300Tdi, pretty much stock (beside equipment and interior work).
Hardcore navigators with maps only.
Next main goal: Argentina (well... LA, Mexico, etc) from where they will ship the 110 to Indonesia.

Looks like US Landy on here, I met him once in Golden, CO. Cool guy, cool truck! If it had a red winch it was definitely him.

Turns out it is a Land Rovers UK / Arkonik build. Wish I could've talked to the owner.

Looks like this one. Says it was delivered to PA.

Arkonik - Land Rovers, Range Rovers, 4x4 Vehicles for Sale

Was it at a mechanic being repaired? That's where the Lanroversuk or Arkonik trucks usually hang out once imported.

Just saw an Epsom soft top in Tulsa for the first time. Looked to be a young man driving it.

Sorry, not too quick with phone!
