I think a grad student at U of I has that truck-I remember talking to someone with a red 90 over there last fall and that plate rings a bell with that truck-it might be Keith's though too. Eric-have you seen the Conniston 94 with SW doors on it rolling around West Des Moines? I spotted it at the West Lakes Hy Vee a week or so ago, but I was on a diaper run so I didn't hang around to see who got into it. My 90 has been tucked away for the last few days as I am too lazy to put the soft top back on, but I ordered a new surrey top from Badger and as soon as that shows unless they are calling for a monsoon I am driving it as much as possible!

Hey Dave,

The green 94 with sw doors is mine. My folks live out by there and I thyink I was picking up some supplies.
I like your plan about getting together, I met John Rundle a week or so ago who has a red 94 st and I know he'd be up for some fun.
Maybe we could get in touch with kieth as well.

Eric-
That sounds great! I can't believe it was your Defender that I came across-had I known it was you the diapers could have waited a few more minutes!

I've been in touch with Keith, and we need to just pick a date and make it work! Let's try to get something set up in the next week or two...

Has anyone noticed the MVPA.org convoy on the Lincoln Highway?

http://www.mvpa.org/?addr=http://www...voy/convoy.htm

It looks like there's an overnight stop in Jefferson (IA) on Monday.

I'm planning on heading up there late afternoon.

Cheers,

KAA

Yeah I saw the green Defender 110 this weekend too, and it does have a Copley plate on it. New dash inside, and is super clean...definitely appears to be only a few years old.

Exclamation Sighting...new D110 HCPU

GaaaaaHHHHH!

On the way to hydraulic shop this morning to get lines made for the D90, I was behind a semi truck loading with exotic cars, one of which, a new silver D110 HCPU with a tan soft top over it's bed . Wonder who the luck owner is, and just how it was brought in the US...

Cheers...

Sighting: Willow Green. Morristown, NJ. SD rack

I headed back to my hometown of Morristown New Jersey before heading up to Portland, Maine for a wedding and as I was pulling into Morristown I saw this Willow Green D-90 SW with what appeared to be a Safety Devices rack. One of my friends has two, but neither of them is Willow Green. Any ideas?

Picture posted.

They all came with the rack. Morristown is a great place. I use to work very very briefly at Allied Signal and mountain bike there whenever I am home (Bergen County)

Oh really? Thanks Barry. Yeah I used to go mountain biking in Louis Morris Park and some other places out there all the time too...great places past Bernardsville/Mendham to Chester for some nice 40-50 mile road biking loops.
