Maybe I should post a picture of my wife's face when she gets home and sees that our Tithonus now has a twin brother and a sister...

Yeah you need to put a Gopro on her face, because this is going to be epic.

Why (for a fews years now) have I really really wanted one of these...oh man how cool. I would go with a MOD desert sand paint scheme. I would imagine a 3.5 is a bit underpowered, but then again these bad boys were primarily gun tractors. No galvy replacement frames for these guys....But then the frame is so far off the ground you probably don't even have as bad of rot issues. Man I want one....

Sweet truck nonetheless. I saw a Japanese Spec 90 in RI a few yrs back. The side markers are one of the tells. NAS 90s had glossy eyebrows when new, so this one hasnt seen the elements. i have seen brand new ROW pumas and td5s before that with matte black eyebrows while it was still on the lot, so not sure there

One of the nicest NAS 90s I can remember seeing in a long time (with exception of those two time capsule ones Bobcat110 had squirreled away about 2 years ago)

Somebody can probably elaborate on the glossy fender flares/eyebrows, whether this is a POE truck or those are replacements. For that matter somebody can chime in on the year. I didn't look inside to see if it was an auto, I was already grifty enough walking around taking pictures.
It really says something about Defenders when somebody pulls over to take several photos of a 20 year old truck when you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a Rolls or Bentley. In fact, there was a new California in the next driveway and I found myself just noting its presence, while staring at the Defender.

It's clear that the only "off road" this truck has seen is the manicured peastone or lawn blocks of a Palm Beach auto court.

I hear ya. This was one sweet uber-truck! It had a really moist frame (oils and grease getting thrown around) but those fluids act as awesome rust prevention! The higher parts of the frame, and those farther from the action, were really in great shape! Just an altogether well taken care FC ;-)

Because the do! So much of it seems backwards, like the rear cage, and the rest reminds me of design by committee. Just too dang angular! And I love boxy defenders, but these are just too much.
