Copley tag on that 110...nice looking rig, actually looks just like my ROW 110 (sans cage & rack). Interesting light setup. Wonder if the dude is local? Anyone know when this sold from Copley? Paging Dr. Barry!
That's the diesel auto they had a couple months back. Those lights give it away. Real nice.

thats a diesel, but not an auto (it has an r380) - i sold it to the last owner in January of this year. younger guy, came here, drove it, loved how it was set up - going to be used as an "adventure truck".

Looks like they are Marine tilt/pan spot lamps. I don't know how good they are for driving by, but the ability to 'swing them around' to where you want light could have its advantages at times..

Not a rover but saw a Unimog with historic plates this past Friday driving north on RT35 by Wegmans while I was in the 90, they waved. Then I sped around the jughandle to try and catch up to him. Got close to it and it looked pretty clean and straight. Was camo painted and had a cage behind the front seats and a rag top set up.

We really need to get you a camera. More sightings and less photos than anyone else around. Would love to see some of these.

I wheeled once with that guy in Pines Barrens. A bunch of Rovers and Unimogs went one day about 3 years ago. He is a NJ cop. Super nice guy, gave me his card if I ever got into "trouble".

Whoops - sorry. My current cold makes me confuse transmissions.

blue SW in Navesink

I was turning off Navesink River Rd. onto Locust and saw this truck waiting to turn onto N.R.R. I was in the 94, taking my dog to the woods. I looked right at the driver, gave a nod and tapped the horn. He looked right through me. Ah well that's Navesink, and Rumsom, for you. No offense Don!

Was it blue with a white roof and blue sides? If so I have seen it at the Atlantic club in Red Bank. Isnt "taking your dog into the woods" a euphemism?

Took a trip out to MTK and saw at least 5 D90s and 2 88s.
Black fastback, Arles Blue HT with SD roofrack, Yellow ST, Red ST, Conniston ST.

Both 88s were for sale one looked like it needed TLC and the other was lifted and black which I don't think I've ever seen in that color.

Lol I saw one of those Lambo 4x4s for sale on the side of the road. Looked like a money pit.

The east end of LI definitely gives Nantucket competition for most Defenders per sq. mile.

Sorry no picts as I was driving and in a hurry.

2 110's in NJ

I was driving my 90 past Rumsom Fairhaven High School today and saw a blue 110 with a white roof in the lot. Later, while waiting for an emergency delivery of coolant on Ocean Avenue, I was passed by a white 110 with a full external cage. I think the while one was at LR Monmouth last month.

The new(er) "reliable" one I replaced the water pump last week. Put 150 miles on it Saturday, then it started getting very hot after I got off the highway. I'm losing coolant via the expansion tank cap. No milky oil, might be air in there. I'll check it more thoroughly today. The upshot is that I've resigned myself to driving a rental car out to Breckenridge on Wednesday.

Yesterday (3.27.11)...While driving back to South Georgia I saw a White 110 with a big nice happy german sheppard on board. The driver was a smiling young blonde. Nice truck. The truck took the west bound exit onto I-70 off of south I-75 about 3:30 yesterday.
Rob

Nice!
