Sightings

A work mate of mine in the land down under seen this and send me the pictures.
His subject in the email was “The best place for them” well he loves his 60’s and 70’s American muscle cars, so he is not that bad.

Charles,

Was the 88 a blue one with UK plates UUV*** and lights all over the front? Someone posted this the other day on GnR.

Not a Defender but thought I'd share...

Saw this at our office parking lot this morning. I don't know what it is, but it looks like one of those Freightliners that they convert to SUVs. Tires are probably 40". Anyone know what this is?

I saw this ridiculous bit of kit at Americas Cup in Newport a few years ago. In fact, I may have even posted it in sightings.
The entire rear section folds open with a platform like stage and club (in da club) sound system blaring EDM that you'd probaly only hear at Burning Man or Ibeza.

Re: Red Bull, THIS is ridiculous:
http://online.wsj.com/public/resourc...05_redbull.pdf

Funny that their $$$$$/hr attorneys said "An "ox" and a "bull" both fall within the same class of "bovine" animals are virtually indistinguishable to most consumers. In addition, an ox is a castrated bull."

Based on the International MXT. Red Bull has a handful of them across the country that are kitted out with a popup roof and speakers to provide audio for all sorts of different events. A good friend of mine drives the one down here in Orlando, it's a pretty wild setup.

Spoke with the guy that drives it. He did say it's an International MXT. He pretended that he knew what he was talking about... he said he built it, but couldn't tell me the size of the tires. He also said it has a V12 Diesel in it. Quick research on the interwebs says the biggest engine was a V8 diesel.

Cars and Coffee

Had a little gatherin at C&C this morning. I still can't believe they had that P1 out with the salty roads. The P1 was pretty dirty for a million dollar car.

Modern cars don't rust like old ones. I would have no problem DDing any modern super car in the salt.
