Saw a Arles Blue 110 with a yellow UK plate and some huge dogs at Chick-fil-A here in Colorado Springs a few weeks back. I wanted to say "hi" but work was busy and I had to eat and run. Was that anybody here?

Garden of the Gods? I work around there and bring a dog with me sometimes. This look like the 110? Next time you're in the area let me know. We can do beers at Trinity.

That's the one. I was in the yellow 94 that was parked next to you:

I'm game for beers at Trinity. I'd like to meet the rest of folks from the area if we can get something organized.

Beauty of a 90! I saw it from inside. Wife and I were eating in.

I think you and I are the only ones in the area that are active here. The rest of the folks are up North and are averse to driving South. Rod is the next closest in Larkspur. He'd drive anywhere for a beer. As I work in the area, I'm game anytime!

Houston 110

Saw a white 110 with black diamond plating under the doors and I think white roof rack driving down Westheimer in the Galleria area in Houston this morning. First 110 I have ever seen in person. Going too fast the other way to get pictures.

I guess you were going too fast ... rather than the 110!

Green D110 LHD in Austin, TX

Saw this Green D110 in Austin off Airport at a repair shop. Had FL tags I think. It was LHD and didn't have a typical NAS cage, so I am super curious as to who owns this thing. If anybody has a clue, let me know.

Dude I totally recognize this truck! Almost bought it, but was a little "too late" on the posting. See below:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...&highlight=110

A D90 member - tommyd - bought it...and has Florida as one of his locations, so I'm guessing the FL tags would be his. Though I can't say for sure if he still owns it, but would assume so.

Looks he they took off the winch bumper, added a snorkle and a roof rack...but it's definitely the same rig. At $22K that was the steal of the century way back in '08. Still kick myself to this day on that one (though I'm totally happy with my current Tdi 110, and this was was an automatic which I didn't really want).

3 minutes for a response! What a great board. Thanks for the info. I wonder if it will remain in Austin or is just passing through for SXSW.

3 minutes...you're right, I must be getting old - need to trim down that response time!

Heck, drop tommyd a line and find out...he may not keep up with this Sightings thread, but I'd be curious to know as well.

Saw Dan's truck on the west side yesterday, a green ST parked on Central Park South with tires that looked like they needed some air and a Wyoming ( I think ) plated Arles blue SW going west on 42nd St this morning ... I may need to trade in for something less common ...

Lucky. Truck and I were in SOHO most of the day yesterday on W Broadway and all I saw were a couple of Aston Martins and a Ferrari.

Saw a black 90 on culver yesterday. The guy pulled up next to me in my Prius. He had headphones on that looked like they came out of a porn in 1973. He barely looked at me. As he pulled away I saw the TAP OUT sticker on the back.

LA at its best.
