I don't care if LR dealers don't stock Defender parts or even if they don't have mechanics well verse in D's but I think it's lame as hell they use them for promotion yet are the henchmen behind customs to make it hard for them to come into the states. The Defender is like the blue collar/rough around the edges brother. They won't invite him to family events but if they need something fixed or a some extra muscle he is the first one called.

i don't have any problems with lrna using defenders for advertising. the car industry is massive. marketing people have zero say over what gets built. who knows, maybe they all want the defender back in na and continue production until the year 3000. doesn't matter, unfortunately.

Local LR dealership. First time ever using the dealership for work (Air suspension calibration). Not convinced they even really know what the Rover in the picture is. The second is what what was getting calibrated.

I noticed a neighbor of mine has a defender wagon. I can't tell if its a 90 or 110. ANyone out there know of a davidsonville MD guy with a defender? Without getting specific as to his address.. right off solomon's island road in davidsonville. Not me (ex-mod) not Clem (ex Mod)

EDIT... I obviously can tell a 90 from a 110.. its parked at the top of a hill facing away.. all I can see is the rear door really.

Serious apologies about the picture of a picture, but my neighbor let me know I made it into the August 2014 Fourwheeler magazine...

Apparently they're a little insecure though.

Terrible pic I took of the ST on the Long Island Expressway. The truck was on the side of the road and I was half asleep (6:30 in the morning!).

Hah. I should note that, in the letter to the editor, they mentioned making a fake plate and put it on there for the photo. Also your wheels/tires

Sri Lanka

A little love for you guys from Sri Lanka. RHD mostly diesels with a decent mix of Defenders running around. I honestly prefer the Army/Security Forces 3 door soft tops but I tend to not take pictures of foreign forces in my current capacity.

Saw this truck in front of Jason's apartment. It looked pretty clean, but I only took a quick look. It had Pennsylvania tags on it. I think it was badge number 287, but I can't tell from the pic I took.
