Looks sort of like a Adventure Motorcars special with that Stainless hardware. 2732 doesn't correspond to Portofino Red in the LRFAQ. Did you get a pic of the VIN?

Also, it looks like whoever waxed it left residue all over the place on that thing.

There wasn't a vin on the galvy chassis, will it get seized!??!?!!?

But seriously, no I didn't shoot the vin, it was dark. Full new Exmoor interior , I'm guessing 4x4 Center had just restored it.

It was waxy, but really shined in the light!

Doesn't #2732 crossref to:
SALDV2283SA965944 '95 #2732 Alpine White

However, obviously this one is red...and I know there are issues with LRFAQ being someone off.

Yup, corresponds to alpine white, not portofino red in the FAQ - which is not perfect.I keep meaning to start a tab of the mistakes but never do.

It's also possible someone did a paint job. Interestingly enough, I seem to recall spotting a very clean Portofino a year or so ago at Cars & Coffee that was shown as wrong color too...I'll see if I can dig it up.

Was hoping it may be the same truck...but it's not:

Another red, but showing in LRFAQ as:

Uh yeah it is. Where do you think you can send your rover plaque out to get it restored? Mine is looking like a piece. This guy's plaque is pristine.

He doesn't drive it, he just polishes it with a diaper. A man with his priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile.

I know the quote but have you ever thought about it? A diaper would scratch the shit out of the paint. Maybe if your kid pooped into a shamy

I'm assuming this is in the days prior to disposable diapers. The reusable cloth ones are nice and soft. That said, Vince from Shaw-WOW would be a better person to speak to the merits of shamy versus diaper. BEFORE Vince's cocaine bender, of course.

Remove and paint with black semi-gloss paint then polish the raised parts. Here is mine just refinished. If you send it to me I can do it for minimal cost.

More

Here are some pics of a Defender I seen last month, just getting around to posting.
It was at the Port of Halifax NS.
It is nice to see all the ROW treats that we can't get here.
I will watch for more when out for a drive.

Mine? Well she is Frankenstein's wife, Elizabeth, DNA from all over.
I do love the Defenders with soft tops. Not sure what will be next 110 soft top or the 130. Just need the wife on my side.
Thanks
