Guy in my town has built this Series Truck over the past 40 years into a 100" diesel defender, he said it has been a rolling restoration that has had many motors over the years.

Also saw what I believe is an '84 90 Van with riveted windows that has been repainted from that sweet teal that I have seen on 83 110's and 84 90's, but is now green.

Nice! Looks like it changed colors since its visit to RN over the winter.

Saw a yellow ST in Williamsburg yesterday ... With 3 white SW's, the LE and now this ... Looks like the epicenter of defender ownership in NYC!

Saw this near my mechanic on Greenwich st in nyc. He said it had been on and off for sale for 65k. It's a 1987 LHD, totally renovated / modernized. Really nice rig , if you like this look.

Green SW on Monument Ave in front of Starbucks on the west part of Richmond. I haven't seen this one, looks mostly stock. Anyone here?

Truth. Good eye. People that would pay $65k for a non-NAS 90 won't know the difference, though.

All British & European Car Day - Dallas, TX

I went to British car collector's show today at White Rock Lake in Dallas and took some picture of the LRs on display.

The yellow one was labeled as a LR 110 pickup; it also had an automatic transmission; interior was done nice.

Additionally, a D90 ST (black) was pulling in as I was walking out and is owned by a member here (I just do not recall his name - I believe it was a son with father).

Not a fan of the new ARB. What is the weight of that monster, 300lbs? However, great looking MOD. If there is a rig that can pull off sporting that ARB, that would be the one.

^^^^Agreed
New ARB looks too futuristic for a Defender. Yeah, it also looks like it weighs a ton.
Nice Ex-MOD though. Actually, I think the ARB would look less out of place on the AA Yellow DC-110 because the whole package is sorta "blingy". Neither truck is what I would build, but both are nice trucks IMO.

But just to be clear, THIS is the kind of thing that we need to protect our country from first and foremost?
