Overall, the truck look really good. The minor things that you've pointed out could be modified for less than $50. Even inside the truck looked good.

I'm just saying its a sign of some suspect paintwork. BUT if you can find me a set of Series IIA galvy cappings, a galvy window frame, and a set of steel lugs all for $50 then I'm a buyer - need them for my Series project!

Jason, there's a guy on lrx in either vt or nh that sells series parts. He's old school and only take mo but has some good stuff that's sometimes hard to find. FYI

Yeah, it was surely painted. It was a fair paint job. I think it was enamel paint. He should have used DBU PPG.

Yeah, its a lot, but its a pretty nice truck. They put about $8k into mechanical repairs alone. It must have been garage kept, the paint is shiny and original. Our detailer didn't even have to wash the exterior.

I saw Ed Mulrenin's Green Defender (http://otr6.com) in Georgetown on Saturday. He was unloading his dogs so I didn't want to bother him. Nice truck!

BTW, I think Ed's Defender was in National Geographic back in January 2002. Talk about an old sighting It's cool to see the same truck making adventures 11 years later. Not many other vehicles could do this kind of stuff for so long.

Spotted 2 - 90 SW on Shea in Phoenix this afternoon within 10 min of each other.
Green with white roof and another green with canvas (maybe tent) on the roof!
Also saw a black 90 in Carefree a couple of times this past week!
