Long-sitting truck now in the shop - NoVA

A 95 arles blue SW that lives a few roads over (and has not moved for years) is now at Arlington Motorcars. It's in remarkably good shape/low rust for being down so long.. Note that the last inspection sticker was from '06. Interior is solid, as well. I met the guy a couple times, real nice fellow - and I'm proud of him for putting it in for repairs.

I have a crappy pic of the speedo, which reads 28,112.

Perhaps - maybe he puts in $5-$10k to get it back to normal and sell for $35-$45k?

Never understood why people just let cars sit out in the elements and rot.

I would think they could get closer to $50k if they put $10k into it and it cleans up well, assuming there is no serious rust.

That's because they want to find the owner and make him put boosts on it or he'll sleep with the fishes.

So I was driving home yesterday passing a body shop and this 90 was parked out front. It looked like a ROW that had been brought up to date so I stopped to have a look. It turns out it is the owner of the shops truck but he is not around. The Secretary tells me that he found it in Spain and imported it, it evidently is only a few years old. Hopefully I will see it there again when the owner is around to ask him how he got it here. The badge on the back said Black Edition 25/80

I usually don't like ROW or non NAS 90s but that truck is nice!

Is "parking" not a requirement to pass the Texas road test?

Wonder if it's broken down. Parked in the disabled spot after all.

Let's hope it's broken down, because I'm sure the owner of the shop isn't a self-centered twat that would park his truck indefinitely in a handicapped spot that one of his customers might actually need, but can't use because the owner wants to show off his truck.

Right?
