Passed a green NAS 90 station wagon going the other direction around 12:30 today. It was on 513/24 heading into Chester. Also my friend just told me he got a thumbs up from probably the same truck in Hackettstown (he was in the Audi with the Camel Trophy sticker in the window).
That's the closest to home I've ever seen a Defender, anyone on here?

Last i checked land rover was only selling 20-30k Defenders a year throughout its 30 year lifespan so if you do the math that is 600-900k defenders worldwide, so compare that to an F-series ford and you would have a similar chance finding any year defender as you would lets say a 2002 F-series ford truck, so maybe 4-5 a day if you drive a decent bit?

I'd love to know what type of value they give on trade for a nice looking truck like that with only 66k miles!

I'm not sure, but I think we gave him pretty good money for it. I needs some work, but should be a very nice truck when we're done with it. The paint looks almost new, which is pretty incredible for being a red Land Rover.

Rear cross is crusty but otherwise yea looks nice from afar - how about posting it for sale to D-90 first before it's listed for retail sale

I'm not sure on its history, but it had VA tags on it. I looked it over briefly to check for any obvious major issues, but it hasn't been checked over for the lot officially yet. I'll see if I can find out.

I thought it was going to be rusty when I saw that rear cross member, but its pretty rust free. Its like most of the factory under coat has come off and it has a light layer of surface rust on it. I'll definitely keep you guys posted when its ready to go up for sale, but I'm a technician, so I don't really have any say in when it is put up for sale. If anyone here is interested I'd be happy to give them any info about the truck.

Ehhhh... I think when combined with the incorrectly mounted winch and side steps under the rock sliders it works well
