Ha.

I thought I saw in the early afternoon on Oct 12th, out of the corner of my eye, when I was heading to the Hyatt from the airport.

My girlfriend saw a blue Defender this morning on either 6th or 5th Ave in Greenwich Village. She came in from walking the dog and said, "oh my god it's so cold outside this morning. That didn't stop a guy in a blue Defender from driving around with the soft top off though."

Anyone from here?

Looks like most of these are located in Southampton at a place called Aventura Motors. The red 110 is on their site for sure.

http://www.aventuramotors.com/site/i...ver&path=60_67

I've passed by there many times and do see a nice collection of classic 4x4s.
FJs and Defenders parked in the front. Rich folks drive by in their G Wags and Bents and do impulse buying. Like "Oh honey, look at that cute jeep, that would match the shutters in our beach house"....

License plate that reads "Jeep." On my way to the farmer's market Saturday AM. Got a cup of coffee and came back to talk with the owner briefly while he was stuck in traffic on Kenyon St. in NW. Pretty nice fellow and gave me the address for his travel blog. He's the original owner and the truck definitely gets used. I invited him to come to our Happy Hour...

Josh, for your records I believe the truck is #291. Hard to read in the photo.

A million years ago I bought a beater soft top and a jerry can off that guy if it's the same person I'm thinking of. He was involved with a german shepard rescue group I believe.

I couldnt snap a picture on the LIE but in the last two weeks i've passed 2-3 NAS 90's
and most were taken at aventura like gery said! the 130 was down the road further west, and the white NAS ST 90 was taken in the town of sayville.

I drove by a house just East of Troy, NY with a Series truck and I think a NAS 110 station wagon.

Gotta be someone here?
