Aside from the Defenders at Rover Special Vehicles (aka RSV) in Jamestown, RI, I saw a nice ex-mod 110 heading out of Jamestown who honked when he saw me; I was on the side of the road packing my soft top away before hitting the highway back to Newport.

Walked by this pair of NAS trucks at the beach. The yellow one was all stock. The green 1997 had some 285s and some other small things like snorkel, armor and wheel spacers. I thought they looked great next to each other and loaded up with surf gear.

The NAS 110 actually is turning into a pile of rust.

The blue striped LR, behind the 110, is that a 90 or 110? Looks like a 90 to me?

Saw an real live Puma driving through Bellingham today. Stopped to talk to the owners, they're driving from the Arctic Ocean to the Antarctic. Had a broken windshield and I happened to have a spare so I hooked them up. I invited them to the ABFM next weekend and I hope they make it.

I know - NAS trucks are all over the place! Just saw a really clean TD5 110 and an Icon FJ. Not to mention a bunch of IH Scouts and Land Cruisers. Lots of cool rigs on this island.

Mike Slade had stopped by for a couple nights, and is headed home this morning. He snapped these pics 1/2 hour ago near Reno. It was coming from Missouri, and headed to the new owner in Frisco.

That windshield needs some cardboard or something to protect it in transit.

I've been in Virgina since the 20th and have yet to see a Defender over here. Thought I would see at least one by now. Have seen one nice LR3 in Williamsburg with Maine plates, white with offroad tires, rack and lights. That's it with the exception of mall crawlers.
