I did a NC to LI trip last week - saw one red D90 ST heading south on 95 in VA on Thursday evening - surprised I didn't see more.

I actually forget why it's called "the Rock" but I'm guessing because its a small piece of dirt in the middle of the ocean.
However, to me, it's called "The Rock" because like Alcatraz, once you get on the island it's extremely difficult to escape.

I followed behind the 90 heading out to Key Biscayne last Friday. Plate reads "act 4 me" and a female was behind the wheel.. I spotted the 110 while working in Boone. I wonder if the building is priced at $121000 or is that the sale price for the 110...

We find these things even when not looking....

So, on vacation and finishing things up by taking the kids to the arcade before the road trip home. My six year old calls me to a shoot ‘em up game he is playing called “Let’s go Jungle”, battling schoolbus- sized tarantulas and frogs. Needless to say, he got a few extra quarters for spotting this one.

This is a '67 Defender full restoration with a mix of series parts. Converted to automatic with full galvy treatment. I briefly spoke with the guy driving it, who bought it already restored and didn't have any answers to my questions other than "its really sweet". BUT..he's taking care of it, so I guess that's what counts. One less in the scrap yard.

Built by Doug Shipman out of Portland. I saw it a couple years ago when it was freshly rebuilt.

It was in the Atlanta area, I wish I'd seen it, looks sweet.
Is the floor & trans hump tread plate?

It was hard to see much of the interior, other than the custom dash. Between sitting fairly high (even for a Defender) and that it was all black interior at night. From what I could see, it had the same Tuffy lockbox my rig has, with an automatic shifting gear from a Disco mounted instead of the cup holders. Below that the transmission looks to have black matting over the top. I'm not sure on that one, and I was already creeping a little too much. (But I couldn't help myself...the valet's had parked it right in front of me...and my girlfriend who was starting to get jealous of the attention it was getting.)

That looks like one that was for sale on ebay a few years ago. I could be wrong but I thought it had a Chevy v8 and a dodge transmission.

Saw the 110 #345 at the beach in La Jolla. I saw 7 defenders, including an awesome 130, but didn't get photos. The Series is parked in the San Diego Zoo.
