Charles, unfortunately she knows me too well.

Keith, this place is absolutely amazing! I'm starting to understand why some people make an annual trip to Italy. The Vatican is overwhelming. You can't throw a stone without hitting a true piece of history here. And the food...

Green 90 On Shrewsbury Ave around 830am

Was driving my mother to the gym this morning in the blue disco of course. Standing in the left turn lane waiting for the light to turn green when I saw the green 90 with factory bumper and one of the factory bull bars. Guy driving was a white male with light strawberry blond hair, thin or so. Gave him the hand wave when he was turning left from shrewsbury ave. onto sycamore ave..

That would be me. It's often at Lowe's or Home Depot. (100 year old house, ya know...)

Today on Naval Station San Diego (aka 32nd Street), a Green 97 SW... parked on the North Quaywall near the C-Tractors.

While looking it over, some other guys nearby started joking how "Everyone always looks at the Landys", turns out he had a D110 while stationed in Bahrain. They didn't know who owned the D90 though.

Same boat... hence my frequent trips to Lowe's as well.

spotted a 95 white SW 182/500 with CT plates at JFK. I would describe it as "interesting"--it had recaros with leopard print accents and chrome wheels.

Thought you all would enjoy this one. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I visited a very good friend who's father is Lanny Clark (lannyclarkrovers.com). Lanny is the man behind many beautifully restored Rovers.

Here are two of his latest. The one on the left is the newest Orvis truck.....it is amazing!!

No way...I'm probably the only other person I've ever met that's been to Lanny's place! I'm about 80-90 miles from him over the border in NY, and took the Series II (and my wife) up there one day 2 summers ago. His place is UNREAL....great stash of cool Rover stuff.

Jonathon...let me know if you ever make it back up that way, I'm in Lake George NY we could meet up for a beer.

PS - my Series needs a galvy chassis, and I plan to get it up to Lanny when I get the time for him to tackle it...his work is top notch.

Saw a Black 90 ST in front of a tow shop in North Jersey....
1. Front end damage (bumper removed, both front fenders damaged)
2. Nice soft top
3. Has a Mass inspection sticker (no plates)
4. Frame was a little rusty..
5. I think the number was 1651.... (I could be wrong on that as my phone did not save the pics)
6. Did not look driveable
7. Safety Devices cage look to be damaged....

the truck is about 1 mile from my work....

Maybe 1961? Mine is 1988.

http://www.lrfaq.org/Defender/D90ST.db.2031.html

1651 is both a 97 AA Yellow, and a 94 Arles Blue.

Looks like a Salvage Title from MA from 2006 with an Odometer discrepancy after 45k miles. Was a NJ vehicle most of its life, then MA where it met its fate I guess.

Amazing how it has an Autocheck score of 99. I must not understand the scoring system or something.

Spotted in Merrick Long Island NY

Mint condition Series truck last Wednesday. I think it had a galv chassis, but it was dark. Sorry for the "enhanced" iphone shots. Best I could get. I think its a hunter green with a cream top and rear door.
I wonder if it's someone lurking the forum.

Saw a red 90 ST with Florida tags stopped at the intersection of Old Courthouse and Gosnell in Vienna at 9 this morning. Had a big brush guard on it too. I started to wave then realized I was driving a Honda.
