I didnt! I can barely operate that phone. I only got your texts because it has an incoming prompt.

It was quit a piece of work though. Belongs in the "Land Rovers that suck" thread

Thanks again for the tour etc. Had a good time.

Two Santa Fe sightings within a mile. Both appeared to be 97 SWs. The Arles truck was mint.

When I had a Bestop my windows were not like that. Maybe they had the windows re-done and they screwed up?

Mine do go below the capping but this looks even farther down than mine. The cappings do scratch the windows- at least on mine

The blue 110 hicap someone traded into Valenti Subaru in Westerly RI. RHD, solid everything, 200 tdi, 70k miles, and it was listed as a "green 5-door Land Rover", it sold for 11k the night before I found it, dealer said it was heading to western CT.

At vertucci in north branford they had the BR110 knock off, now belongs to the owner of the dealership, in for a transmission swap, a 127 out back. My favorite, was the exmod 110 soft top, recently imported from P.A. Blanchard, complete with a 2.5 N/A they were asking $47k for.

NAS Trucks:
The green SW is a local truck I have yet to track down the owner of, it was in a drivetrain shop getting the snapped axles replaced and lockers installed, sounds like a fun guy.

The BlackST belongs to the owner of the Hot Rod Cafe in New London CT. He's not interested in off roading, but given the price he paid and how clean it was, I wouldn't be either.

That looks like the 1997 truck that Copley only had on their lot for a few days before it sold back in May. Came from Rover Special Vehicles before that if I recall. I could understand why he doesn't want to offroad it.

Edit. Just found the old listing for it:

1997 Defender 90 Soft-Top #1155
SALDV224XVA112782

1997 Land Rover Defender 90, Beluga Black, full safari cage, full updated soft top with zip out
windows, surrey top - shown, full time 4 wheel drive with high-low range, automatic transmission, 2 passenger back seat, am/fm/single CD, new seats with G4 style upholstery, custom front bumper with integrated driving lights, Goodyear Wrangler Pro-Grade tires on Walker Evans bead-lock wheels, uprated springs and shocks, Land Rover 4.0 litre V8 gas engine rebuilt and uprated to 5.0 litre with performance cam, pistons, ECU re-profile and 6,400 RPM red-line, new stainless steel exhaust, all systems updated and rebuilt in 2012 and 2,000 miles ago, one of 215 Beluga Black D90s imported in 1997.

And I guess that also gives you special dispensation to park on a yellow curb for as long as you please.
