I think it's an '88 or '89... honestly don't know... I'll run the VIN in a few... I made a mistake too, the D1 was at our Asheville dealership... we moved our Defender 130 to Asheville and that D1 here in Greenville. We have crap everywhere now, hard to keep up with it.

Let me tell you where any of that crap won't be...Land Rover Charlotte. Heritage can kiss their ass. When I roll up there, they barely notice. As a matter of fact, that is the only place in Charlotte where I'm not noticed.

If the licence plate on the Discovery is an original British plate, then the N refers to a 1996 registration date.

X2

I pulled into LR Asheville in the 110 and looked over the Camel disco one time and not a single person came out to talk to me or look at the vintage rover I was in. They knew I wasn't there to buy a new truck so they could care less.

I'm making whiskey all afternoon but you guys are definitely welcome to come by and drink and hang out...The 90 will be there and I think there is some Burnside or Upright on draft. If not, plenty of bourbon to take care of you.

Vacationing in Kailua. I saw a Series in Kailua and a white D90 driving up Kam Highway north of Kaneohe. I was not quick enough to get pictures.

Was this the Series you saw? If so it belongs to a life long friend stationed at Hickam.

That does look like the series we saw in Kailua. My wife thinks so also. Nice truck.

That truck gets more attention than 90% of the children in the world. He is the LR geek of geeks. He is personally responsible for my Land Rover addiction.
