I travel frequently (actually in Anchorage, AK right now) and it is my # 1 rule. I meet more interesting people and eat far better food following that rule!

If you go to Girdwood and want a good meal, try "Jack Sprats"...Never had anything bad there! How long you in Alaska?

We never eat at chain food shops when traveling...that's half the fun of going new places!

Bill & Josh, I totally agree, unfortunately whilst on business I don't get to make that call. Corporate rules the hotel choices.

Not me but if its the same guy, I saw him in June dropping his kids off at Pinecrest elementary on Red Rd...He must live around here. Overall, there are a hand full of ROW 110s and NAS 90s in this area.

Saw this series rover cruising south on Hwy 101 last night. Stopped at Ponto Beach. Good looking truck. I was on a shoot photographing a model, told her to hold on, ran over to the road & snapped this.
