With owner permission 100% of the time. Just the right thing to do.

Parked, in commute, and random shopping mall trucks are just sort of not fair to the owners...this thread may be getting used to assist in car theft(s)...do you guys want to have a stolen car's owner search this site, find pictures of his/her truck and then figure out a clever way to blame you...... It is just not fair to do that to people. Given what is going on in England (lots of theft), only a matter of time before people do it here...why help them?

Jeff

Anything in a public place is fair game for having a photo taken and many photos contain geo-location meta data so good luck trying to pin a theft on that.

Posting the location is maybe a bit over the top but as a member of NYC boost club our vehicles are fair game in the city.

As for some criminals roving round looking for defenders ... Not that's stretching it a bit. The US defender market is nothing like the UK where they are stolen because they are so common, the exact in inverse of the situation in the US. I'm not aware of any defenders being stolen in all the time I've been on the board....

Theft of defenders prior to 97 is also exceedingly tricky given most of the US population can't drive stick.

If someone steals Ronnie's truck they'd abandon it within half a block due to the over powering cologne and ABBA cd constantly playing!

Yep. ... It's a Vespa 150. Great gas mileage and easy parking.

Most of these posts are not done in real time. What harm is there. Issue with the UK and the US is apple and oranges.

Sorry about that Dan's truck, not Dan

One thing I thought was interesting about the truck was that it was on black freestyles

NAS #2470 looking sad and dusty in a long term storage lot in Montrose, CO. Right by the airport, it's probably belongs to someone with a vacation home in Telluride.

I'm still under the assumption that you and Ronnie met up at Williams Sonoma after that sighting to get some shopping done.
