Just a heads up. I know that Badger was working on a quick on/off top similiar to what the Jeepers use when they park it and dont want to put the top on. In case your interested.

I knew it. Awesome seeing your truck even if it was from a distant. But who was the other guy that was doing all the waving?

LOL. That was my imbecil friend.

He came to MAR of the monsoon a few years ago…I think in 2006.

This guy is a character. He makes fun of my defender every chance he gets, yet he is the one screaming like a teenage girl when he saw your Defender! He also regularly asks me to send him pics of my truck to show others...

Another case of Defender envy I guess.

Lmao, that is funny. The chick that was with me is a rover lover too. She actually went to the Dealership when she was 18 to check out disco's.
Actually saw you later that day while I was on the main street bridge into Belmar waiting for the drawbridge to come down. You were going north over the rt35 bridge.

Thought I would be the only one with a d-90 around Johnstown, Ohio.

Saw a Coniston Green LHD a few times. The first time I saw it was about 45 minutes before mine was to be delivered. Also saw it last week...the driver was waving. Both times were on route 62. Anyone here?

Also sighted a Coniston green LHD one with a roof rack and HUGE canoe on it in New Albany Ohio few weeks ago.

Don't think they were the same one.

I spotted a Conniston Green hard top D90 on Santa Monica Blvd and 6th this morning. It was super clean, had what appeared to be an OME lift, taller tires and Boost Alloys. My iPhone crapped out just before being able to take the pic.

Also spotted a completely stock Yellow D90 in a garage off Lincoln and Arizona. Doesn't appear to have been moved in weeks.

Lastly, spotted a stock white D90 parked in a lot on the Lincoln Ave. exit from the 10 fwy, also in Santa Monica. Silicon Beach is just sprawling with Defenders.

Anyone here?

Well I finally saw the Arles Blue SW truck my girlfriend has seen 3-4 times in the past week. It has Washington plates, an ECR sticker on the back, I believe a whole galvanized chassis, upgraded LED rear lights, SafariGard front bumper, Rock sliders with nerf bars, etc.

I do not recognize the rack or ladder. The driver side ladder looks like something Jon / Wolf does with support from the step bumper, but the front cross bars are too angular to be Wolf but the feet look like his clamps. And I thought the ladder system on the new Safety Devices racks was different than this, too?

It's a 1995 Arles Blue SW number 45/500

AutoCheck shows it with 38k miles in Massachusetts in 2010 before it sold and went to Washington.

It may have been this build, but I can't be sure.

NEVERMIND I just saw the build Wolf did for this rack back a few years ago.

Saw a poor old beat up 90. It's kind of sad, looks like it used to be a decent truck

I'm slowly moving towards sort of liking Defenders with a little patina...I've always felt that way about Series trucks (nothing worse than a fresh restoration on a Series). A Defender like this looks like it's got some stories to tell. They can't all be mall-cruisers!

I definitely agree with you about Series trucks....and my Defender might be as guilty as any of being too clean- even though it goes off road, I try to keep it at 10/20 standard (army speak)

I love the look of this old series in Newport- (I think its for sale) vs mine-- which can be blinding in the sun
