the ROW 90 was AWESOME! and the series was even cooler! i may be scooping up a series III that has been sitting in a classic car junkyard out in the hamptons. i have to speak to the guy tomorrow about a few more details on it. it needs work but i think i can get a sweet price on it. and best part is it doesnt need a chassis

Coolest sighting ever since it was front & center at the fireworks in Lake George NY tonight. We were late getting there and didn't quite make it down to the beach, but had a nice '97 Jap Spec NAS SW #514 sitting down in front of us. Marker lamps were a giveaway, and was registered in Montreal. Nice looking truck.

sick!! I got some parts if you need some, lemme know! got a really nice seat box.

That ROW 90 was amazing. I looked at the 2 pics so quick I thought the 3 pics were all one 90. Went back and noticed the cool taillights and flat paint. was very cool!

------ Follow up post added August 16th, 2012 10:34 PM ------

Jason, what other than the taillights is he Jap Spec giveaway?

------ Follow up post added August 16th, 2012 10:39 PM ------

Not the tail lights, the marker lamps...they're small little things on the Jap Spec NAS trucks:

'95 & '97 on the NAS trucks were round. It's just us '94 NAS guys that have the damn hideous square/generic-trailer-looking tail lights!

Haven't you seen that truck before or was that over on ExPo (and also you?)? I've seen that truck before and someone knocked on the door and the guy wouldn't sell it. I could have sworn it was you - like a year or two ago.

110 in Seward, AK

This was a really nice tricked-out 110 with everything needed for a long term trip. We get to see a lot of rigs up here which have been shipped from europe, into the US for long road trips.

yes it was me,my girlfriend and i went there a few months ago because there was a 109 there and i ask the guy if they both were for sale and he said yes. But i had just sold the 90 and wasn't in the market for it, so i never wasted the guys time talking to him. than last weekend my buddy and i were driving out east again the other day and i pulled over to look at it again. and i realized it was in a lot better condition than i thought it was a year ago,so i took the guys name down again and gave him a call yesterday. He said that its a customers car that has been sitting for 15 years he lost the guys contact info and hasn't spoken to him in close to two years. he said all he can remember was his name was peter and he was from sag harbor. He told me that if he doesnt hear back from the guy within the next 2-3 months he is putting a garagelean on it and THAN he'll be able to sell it to me, So i gave him my name and number but figured i shouldn't count on him so i am looking for something else.

The red 90 is identical to one I am working on and has the same problem with the soft top flopping in the wind when not on straight. Parallel universe from SC to NY

That problem is usually a case of laziness/forgetfulness/tightness. Plenty of people forget that little part of the belt rail even exists...and if you do remember, the Besttop is usually so tight that it doesn't fit there anyway.
