The red 90 is identical to one I am working on and has the same problem with the soft top flopping in the wind when not on straight. Parallel universe from SC to NY

That problem is usually a case of laziness/forgetfulness/tightness. Plenty of people forget that little part of the belt rail even exists...and if you do remember, the Besttop is usually so tight that it doesn't fit there anyway.

the top Brian's referring to is a RN soft top. It's a really nice ST, but wow it's a bitch to get on. It had been in the bag for close to 3 years too. We let it warm up in the sun but it still wrestled us for all of an hour.I don't miss my wrangler, but the top was easy to get on. didn't last for shit and windows got murky quick, but was easy to get on!

Owner actually lives in Northport and has been a long time Defender owner. He brought it to one of our dealer off road events and I don't know if I was happy or sad when he got it muddy.

Foot wells, tranny tunnel, bling, bling, you name it. Quality install however.
This morning saw a black ST with the tags "SANDBOX". Good thing it was not rinolined..... ;-)
Saw "Sandbox" in Rehoboth Beach again yesterday. Looked to have gotten busted pausing for the pic!

I think the president of our company asked if he would sell it and he politely said no.
