Just got back from our place in playa samara Costa Rica www.lvcostarica.com (shamless plug). I have a few buddies in the area who have 110's. Mostly double cab TD5's but a few 110's SW's. There is one puma truck that we see at the beach on occasion but only on the weekends. I tried to buy the 110 SW in blue but the guy was not ready to sell. I also saw an orange G4 and silver puma 90 but did not get any pictures. I wish I could just live here year round.

I saw an Orange 110 in Santa Teresa 2 years ago. It looked to be a G4 but i never got close to it to confirm.

Ok.. darn, I thought perhaps VAG was reconsidering. I'm a big Dub fan boy, would buy that pickup in a heartbeat with the T-Reg/Cayenne TDi and low range. Thanks.

We usually drive a Toyota prado when we go down. This time I had a new one with leveling headlights, back up camera, automatic third row seats, on the fly 4 wheel drive which is essential to get to our place. The best is that the diesel engine is smooth and quiet but stills gets 30 mpg. They always have. Surfboard rack on top. I love driving while we are down there. A tipical 30 minute drive always includes a river crossing or some sort of 4 wheeling. Still want to by a defender for our place.

those prados are really cool. What is the toyota police truck? Stormtrooper? Those are really cool too! We had a diesel mitsubishi montero, was nice for an entry level suv. had to convince my buddies it was diesel it was so quiet. passing cars is a sport too, wow, semis were interesting.

Most of the police vehicles are helux's or dirtbikes in playa samara and playa Carillo. I do love when a semi passes someone with traffick coming the other way and they just blow there horn so traffic will slow. I wish I could bing back a prado to the US.

That's a great truck. I also like the double cab helux's they drive. They are great deisel trucks and run well offroad. Wish the US would sell some of them.

Shot some video of a botched zip line ride. I was wearing the gopro and the guide wanted to make me fly like super man. Didn't quite work out.

The 130 in the picture has the Thule crossbar mounts that I have but cannot get to work. Is there a difference in the roof height
Between a 110 and 130?

Saw a well used 90 with lockers and 35s and some heavy duty upgrades underneath it in San Rafael Ca. It looks like it is well used off road
