Spotted this 109 in Hackensack, the guy works 1/2 mile from my house. He got the truck from Upstate NY. Nice guy.

Is that on or around Summit Av? The house in the background looks familiar.

I think I saw that 109 driving around in Paramus a few days back.

CT colored non NAS 110 on 101 and 405 this afternoon. Plates said GRNCAML, presuming it means it runs On veg oil.

Anyone here?

Nice truck!

Interesting windows, haven't seen that on a series

Custom I presume?

There were a few Land Rovers around town for a parade and 2 of them had the same galvy frames and canvas/vinyl windows. They looked very new on both trucks.

UK tags used to be able to be made up by anyone ... They are still not issued by an official body ... Remember in the UK when a car is first registered to its first owner the tags that it gets stays with the vehicle for life.

That's still the case. I had mine made at Halfords which is the UK's "Pep Boys." Most automotive and some service stations will make the plates.

Same thing in South Africa. I bought my 110 and went next door after registering it to get plates came out to realize they were the same as the ones I had on it already. After I sold it I had the other plates to bring home and they have been on and off my 109.

Saw a cool looking 110 in Jeffersonville, VT coming home from Jay Peak and about to go thru the 'notch. Took a pic so I wouldn't get crucified by Josh

Also a pic of a the poster wall at DJ's Deli in Johnson (yum) from the other day. Only in VT would you see posters for yoga classes, atv mud bog, county fair and a raggae show all together. Weird thing is that I have been to or participated in all those types of events.

Looks like one of Derek's (greenmountainrover) trucks. He's out of Underhill, just a few miles from there.

Nice - thanks Jason - I thought GreenMtnRover was nearby. Went thru Underhill the other day on our way to check out a bike/skate park in Essex Jct. Rover's North is nearby too as I'm sure you know.

Wish I had more time and the 90 up here to check out the local Rover places and some of the class IV roads.

You still in VT? For how long? Hit me up if you pass by the Lake George (NY) area on the way back.

Leaving Friday early. Need to get to CT for a wedding on Friday night. Will be heading down VT and into MA then CT. But thanks for the invite to Lake George! I've never been but heard it's a beautiful town/area.

Damn...sort of a good idea - but isn't he already "north"? Technically where he is in VT is north of me. But damn I could've driven down and caught a ride back up with him. We were aiming to get it down this week, but Pedro's flight fell apart (as did just about every structure on my end - sprung a leak on my roof, tenant told us they are leaving a rental property so we're in fix-up mode, and had some boat repairs to do). So we sort of are back to square-1 with that, and my free time went out the window as I play Johnny-Fix-It.

Yep. Strawberry Festival Parade on Vashon had a few Rovers this time. It will likely be an annual thing now.
