Sorry for the crappy pic. He was pulling away as I got my phone out.
Also sighted by AmityD90 on the south shore a little while back and my wife at a local rover event.

I spent a few days in D.C. with the family and stayed in Arlington. on friday the 6th at 5:45 we were walking to dinner and saw a green 90 hardtop with roofrack and roof tent on it. They were crossing N. Glebe by our hotel the Westin Gateway Arlington. Anyone here? Our 110 was hidden in the parking garage.

Of course he loves it ... It's an incredibly desirable white SW ... Clearly a man of sophistication and taste.

Looks like a really early '95 SW or has had front end damage and the front wing was replaced with the '94 style side marker light above the fender eyebrows. I can't tell which type of rear LEDs those are, either - Wipac or Trucklite/Rubbolite ones.

Actually I'm not wrong on both accounts - ECR doesn't make LED's - they sell Trucklite/Rubbolite LED's, so if these came from there I was right. The side markers in the front are definitely in the position of a Japanese/Dubai Spec truck, but the lights themselves have been switched to look like the '94 style.

What would make it early 95 instead of just a 95?

The lights look more like those on most 97s (darker) than what is on my 94 but it's hard to tell in the pic.

Had a sightings weekend.

First, was rolling up the Merritt Parkway Saturday morning and came upon this white '94. I honked and we exchanged thumbs up. I was in my green P38.

Then, spotted this red '97 Sunday morning at the Sheraton in Springfield, MA.

When I looked at it last night, it looked like the side light was really flat up against the front wing, which was the '94 style (AMR2036) up to early '95 style through VIN SA955972. They were definitely a brighter yellowy-orange as opposed to the main '95/97 style light (AMR2575) which came out much further from the body and was much darker - like a brownish-orange. It's hard to tell from the pic, but now that I'm looking at it on a computer as opposed to my phone it does look darker.

Did you look in the parts manual to find out when they stopped using 94 lights or are you that much of a savant?
