Saw this NAS 90 on Naval Station Newport while doing arduous duty here this week and next.

Note the wheel he's got in the receiver to account for an oversized spare. I'm assuming this aligns the door as it shuts. Brilliant idea. Never saw that before.

It probably also removes a lot of stress off the hinges when driving.

Yeah, it looked to be a nicely built truck. I wanted to get off to take a closer look but I didn't feel like going into stalker mode.

That is indeed my truck. The gent I bought it from added the wheel, and it does take ALOT of stress off of the hinges. When its shut, the wheel sits rocks solid.

Defeneders in Fiji and OZ

Spotted this 90 in Fiji. It's the only Defender I saw on the island. Drove over to the local LR dealer here is Surfers Paradise and he had these two. The Black one is in the showroom and they were closed.

Saw a white ROW 110 with diplomatic plates down by the seaport today in NYC. Was running so didn't have time to take a look, but had 'D' country sticker for Germany in the window.

New Zeland Defenders

Just flew into New Zeland and spotted the Black 90. Also spotted a very nice Grey 110 in Wanaka. The black 110 is at a local dealer in OZ but was sold before I could purchase it. I have them trying to locate one for me know.

No, I'm moving to Australia. I should have mentioned that in the post. I'm here on business.
