had a mini swap meet over my place this weekend. Actually there was no swap, as my buddy in the S2A cleaned me out of my old roof rack, flat roof and anything else he could fit on his trailer (A true hoarder!)

In true fashion, he now says he has to build a new truck because he has a roof and 3-door sides. Isn't that how it all starts?

Bobcat110-if you're reading this, I have to introduce you to this guy (he's a complete mad-man and lives in Norwell and is probably right in your 'hood in Hingham more often than not as he's got a boat moored there). We need to get together soon.

I got sighted today. A nice lady came up to me at Fairfax Corner and said, "Excuse me, but what year is your Defender 90?"

I was pretty shocked that she knew what it was. She said that her husband has a 1997. So if anyone here's wife says that they saw an '84 Defender at the mall today, it was mine!

Old rag is a great hike! Ever eat at the Griffin Tavern in Flint Hill?

It's not nice to tell lies! There was no Defender in 1984. Early nineties is when the introduction of the Defender happened (check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_Defender).
So if someone sold you a '84 Defender....

that will stir up some questions...... but here is a line you missed: "The One Ten was launched in 1983, and the Ninety followed in 1984. " =)

What year did they start producing poop-brown trucks? Was that the "Defender" or the "90"?

Whoops...sorry Ed, but at least I put a cool shot of it!
