The deep dish lead me to think its privately owned rather than military. What ever happened to the the burned out Ranger 110 that someone here bought as salvage? Is that it?

Is that at Ft. Bragg? I know there's a couple Ranger 110's there, but they have covers on them so I haven't seen them uncovered yet.

I've seen this truck at Four oaks in Santa Monica and in Sherman Oaks. Not NAS, obviously. Spoke to the owner briefly, nice chap.

Bragg, Benning, Pope, McDill, Little Creek, or Hurlburt Field. In that order

Pope doesnt have any land for that kind of stuff, its all airbase with the housing between the airfield and fence line for Bragg.

Pretty sure those are kept at a motor pool on the west side of Gruber road, under a carport. I've also heard reports that they've been seen by the parachute building.

I saw an AA Yellow in a physician parking spot at UCLA medical center. I would have taken a picture but I was on crutches. It had an interesting combination of a Steelers and Giants stickers on the tailgate. I think it also had a lion king-esque tire cover....

I saw a pristine white NAS D90 Station Wagon in Fairfax VA this morning. I waved but the windows were so darkly tinted that I doubt that they could see me

Yet another post of "Defenders Murph saw from then aircraft".

While out of town on a training detachment this week, wasn't I surprised to see four old 110/109 trucks being used as targets on a bombing and strafing range we were using several of the days.

After we were done throwing hate downrange on a few aircraft hulks and a host of other targets in another area during one of the day hops, we set up for some practice brownout landings in one of the spots that included two trucks on the back of semis and another two parked on their own. I asked my crewchief to get a few pictures with his IPhone, and here they are.

After I radioed what they were to my wing aircraft, they told me they wished they'd saved a few rounds just to hear me scream on the radio. (We had a couple superbeat hand-me-down 03/04 D110 TDIs as crew cars overseas a while ago that I got/kept running.)

I have no idea what these ones are/were, but I did confirm that they were Rovers.

Sadly, a lot of these random trucks are ending up on the shooting and bombing ranges. You are starting to see more M151s, HMMWVs, and even our Recon IFAVs being shot up as they are not suitable/safe in combat and the DOT won't let them on the roads.
