Not a Defender, but a chopped RR sitting on the lot of one of the many reputable used car dealers on Rt. 46 in North NJ. Sorry about the photo through the fence, didn't want to go on the lot and have to deal with the sales guys.

Saw this a few hours ago in Carmel, CA. RHD, and (I think) had UK plates. Cool looking truck.

Not sure if the tarp is included, but I thought I saw some sort of soft top over the front of the truck.

Up here in Maine, that tarp would be a valuable accessory. :-)

GBJ would indicate Jersey ... one of the channel islands ... similar plate style but different format ( no year or region code )

Yes, I didn't want my plate and location where I park regularly visible on the web. No offense taken to comments regarding the 20s. I had them off as soon as I had time.

You don't want your license plate exposed? Better pull that sucker off. Just think of the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers that see it every day and who might be stalking you.

Check out that rear cross member, anything north of Ga has great potential to be a pile of rust.

Yeah. He said its the second top he's had for it. It shrunk real bad. I told him to look into badger. It's not his daily. Sounded like mostly summer and snow storms.
