Contact Keith at Copley to see who they recommend.

or take a look at who ECR recommends.

Welcome to NC!! Wilmington is a nice place. When are you moving? I'll be around Wilmington (Wrightsville Beach) next Friday -the 4th- through the following Saturday.

...I might even have the Rover with me if I can get the speedometer issues sorted out by then.

Thanks Mike, I won't be out there for another 3 weeks or so. Just sorting out my move and everything right now - but I am looking forward to getting back to the east coast.

We ship a bunch of Rovers back and forth to Ca, and everywhere in between. Call nancy @ (910)259-6306, tell her Dale had you call. She is a broker, but well worth the extra hundred bucks or so, as she knows the truckers, and is very selective. NashvilleRover just used her to arrange his 110 from Co. to Nashville, and was extremely pleased. Good luck, and hope you will join us in Oct at Uwharrie- Old North Sate Land Rover Society.

My 110 just showed up today in Maine and came from LA. Call Jeff Barnes at Barnes Auto transportation. He is terrific to deal with and an owner/operator so you'll know exactly where your truck is and that its being looked after. I found his info on ECR's site.

Doug,
Sadly after all that back and forth life (work) got in the way and closed my window to be able to drive cross country so i ended up shipping both vehicles. I thought i posted that in the thread but realized in was in the for sale area. Ive listed one of my 109's and a 110 frame. If cant find the time to take a few days and drive cross country Ill never got around to putting these two together.

Thanks for all the info and suggestions. Dale, I'll be sure to check out the Old North State Rover Society when I get settled - and Stephen we'll have to link up when I get down to Wilmington. Right now it looks like I'll be down there around the last week of July / first week of August.

When I moved to Texas, I rolled my truck right on the moving van with the rest of my household goods. It's a covered ride and they strapped it down carefully. Worked great. They even called me when it arrived and I was able to drive it off myself. Beats putting it on a car carrier and having it pelted by gravel and bugs.
